MaryGold Designs About

Sky Leuba is the owner/operator of MaryGold Designs. He grew up in a fourth generation farming family with a father who grew organic corn and soybeans and a mother who is a master flower gardener. The name MaryGold comes from and is in honour of his grandmother’s name Mary, combined with the popular flower, Marigold. Mary grew up on a farm in Idaho and in fact learned to speed read so she could get a book finished as fast as possible before more chores. Sky’s experience comes from being raised around plants, be it in the vegetable patch pushing bush bean seeds a knuckle deep into fresh tilled soil or helping my mother mulch the lilacs, rhododendrons, and hostas. From 2014-2016 his father and him had a business (MaryGold Organics) selling organic garlic wholesale. Since 2019 Sky transitioned to professional gardening full time and he thoroughly enjoys all parts of plant husbandry, especially purchasing plants and creating new gardens or amending existing ones. He looks forward to working with you on your next project and helping to create a more beautiful and relaxing place for you and your family.
